Dunkin’ Donuts Supports Make-A-Wish Foundation with Special Donut Promotion.
Rochester, N.Y. — In September, Dunkin’ Donuts is lending a hand to children across Western New York by offering a special donut in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The “Make-A-Wish” donut is available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations for a one-dollar donation to the foundation.
This initiative benefits families like the Thompsons. Six-year-old Henry, who was treated for a brain tumor, enjoyed a memorable trip after his treatment, which included meeting characters from his favorite TV show and seeing a live performance.
Julie Thompson, Henry’s mother, shared her gratitude: “You get preoccupied with your child’s treatment, and that becomes your main focus. The trip really helped our family reset and focus on fun and togetherness after his treatment.”
Paula Vieira from Dunkin’ Donuts and Donna Auria from the Make-A-Wish Foundation highlighted the importance of the campaign: “This is our first year running this promotion. Any guest who donates one dollar will receive a Make-A-Wish donut, which supports many children in Western New York.”
The special donut will be available until September 15.
To date, Make-A-Wish has fulfilled over 3,700 wishes in the Western New York area.
