The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Pinkbox Doughnuts, renowned for its creative doughnut offerings, will soon open a new store in American Fork. The upcoming location will be situated in the building formerly occupied by Zaxby’s, near the American Fork I-15 freeway exit.
Founded in Las Vegas in 2012 by Stephen and Judith Siegel, Pinkbox Doughnuts has become famous for its innovative doughnut creations and vibrant store atmosphere. The franchise quickly gained popularity with its playful marketing and distinctive doughnuts, including the Pinky®, Pooh®, and Peace® varieties.
The Pinkbox Doughnuts website highlights the chain’s appeal: “With its quirky marketing and colorful interior, Pinkbox Doughnuts became an instant sensation. After opening a second store in Henderson, NV in 2015, the brand continued to grow well beyond its initial vision.”
Now boasting 12 locations, including a popular shop in St. George, Utah, Pinkbox Doughnuts stands out with its unique flavors and eye-catching decor. “Our stores feature colorful designs, including drips and sprinkles on the walls and fun stripes on the floors,” the website notes. “Pinkbox Doughnuts isn’t just another doughnut shop; it’s a modern twist on a beloved classic.”
The new American Fork location will continue the franchise’s tradition of offering whimsical and flavorful doughnuts such as Pinky, Peace, Apple Fritter, Purple Rain, Pretty in Pink, cinnamon twists, and more. Freshness is a key focus for the company.
In addition to its doughnuts, Pinkbox Doughnuts serves a variety of creative coffee options. “We’re committed to providing an exceptional coffee experience, with classic espressos, flavored lattes, nitro-cold brews, and our signature Pinky Style,” according to their website.
While an exact opening date for the American Fork store has not been announced, a sign at the site and a mockup of the building indicate that construction is set to begin soon.
