Pana Donuts and Boba Tea is set to open its first store in Carmel on September 5 at 2284 E. 116th St. This location will be the ninth for the chain in central Indiana.
Owner Arron Sok expressed excitement about the new shop, stating, “This location will be good for us because we’ve been looking in Carmel for a couple of years, and we have a lot of customers referring us to Carmel. I think it’ll do well here.”
The Carmel store will cover about 3,000 square feet and will offer the same menu as its other locations. Customers can choose from over 40 types of donuts, including toasted coconut, vanilla sprinkle, glazed twist, apple fritters, and cinnamon rolls. The menu also features various breakfast sandwiches, cappuccinos, smoothies, and boba tea.
The new shop plans to employ around five full-time and seven part-time staff members.
Sok opened the first Pana Donuts and Boba Tea in Indianapolis five years ago and has since expanded to include a location in Lawrence on Fox Road.
