A beloved donut shop just north of Boston has permanently closed its doors.
Demet’s Donuts, located on Mystic Avenue in Medford, shut down over the weekend after more than 40 years in business.
The shop, which opened in 1983, was well-known for its variety of old-fashioned donuts, as well as breakfast sandwiches and coffee.
