Feeding Westchester has expressed its gratitude for a recent donation from Mike McAleer, Walter Buczek, and the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Rebecca Snyder, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Feeding Westchester, stated, “This generous donation will help us deliver hunger relief through our extensive network of partners and support those in need throughout Westchester County.”
The event featured Dunkin’s Free Coffee for a Year giveaway, where the first 100 guests at 9 a.m. received coupon books offering four free medium hot or iced coffees each month for 14 months. Many Dunkin’ Rewards members also had the chance to spin the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free merchandise. Additionally, some customers won tickets to New York Boulders games.
The celebration was attended by several local officials, including Town of Orangetown Supervisor Teresa Kenny, Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco, Rockland County Deputy Executive Michael Hoblin, Town of Orangetown Councilmember Brian Donahue, members of the Town of Orangetown Police Department, and representatives from the office of New York State Assemblyman John McGowan. The event concluded with a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new Dunkin’ location, spanning 2,800 square feet, employs 15 staff members and operates daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
