Evansville Law Enforcement to Participate in “Cop on a Rooftop” for Special Olympics.
Evansville, Ind. — The Evansville Police Department and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office are set to reach new heights in community involvement this Friday as they join forces for the Special Olympics of Indiana’s “Cop on a Rooftop” event at Dunkin’ Donuts.
This annual event, organized in collaboration with Dunkin’ Donuts and local law enforcement, aims to raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics Torch Run and other related activities.
Officers will be stationed at the Dunkin’ Donuts on South Green River Road from 5 a.m. to noon, engaging with the community and encouraging donations to support Special Olympics programs.
As a token of appreciation, guests who contribute to the cause will receive a coupon for a free donut.
