Krispy Kreme enthusiasts across Colorado have reason to celebrate as the popular doughnut chain has opened its fourth location in the state. As of the second Tuesday in August 2024, Fort Collins is now home to one of America’s favorite doughnut shops.

The new Fort Collins location was first announced in January 2023, with plans to break ground by March of that year. By the summer of 2024, the former site of a Fazoli’s Italian restaurant had transformed into a gleaming Krispy Kreme store.
This marks the first Krispy Kreme location in Northern Colorado since the brand first entered the state in 2001. Strategically positioned near the intersection of Harmony Road and College Avenue, the store is located at 4824 South Mason.

The grand opening drew so many customers that security was brought in to manage the traffic around the store, which shares its spot with Zwei Brewing and Appliance Factory Outlet, in a somewhat compact area.

The atmosphere was festive, with many donning the iconic Krispy Kreme hats—a tradition that dates back to the brand’s inception in 1937.
