New Doughnut Franchise Set to Open in Altoona by Year-End.
Altoona, Pa. (WTAJ) — A new doughnut and breakfast franchise, Parlor Doughnuts, is expected to open its doors in Altoona before the end of the year.
The franchise, which started in 2019, has rapidly expanded to nearly 80 locations across the United States, stretching from California to Pennsylvania. Brenden Goldizen, a local franchisee, has chosen Altoona for his first location.
Goldizen confirmed that the new store will be located on Burgoon Road, near Mansion Park, with plans to open around Christmas this year.
He also mentioned that he holds franchise rights for Blair, Cambria, and Centre counties, indicating a strong possibility for more locations in the future.
Parlor Doughnuts offers a wide range of options, from classic doughnuts like glazed and raspberry-filled to unique flavors such as maple bacon and turtle cheesecake. The company emphasizes freshness, with small batches made throughout the day.
In addition to doughnuts and coffee, Parlor Doughnuts will offer a variety of artisanal breakfast options, including vegan, gluten-free, and keto-friendly items.
