Dunkin’ Donuts to Open New Location in Monroe with Free Coffee Giveaway.
MONROE, CT — Dunkin’ Donuts will celebrate the grand opening of its new restaurant at 395 Monroe Turnpike this Wednesday, August 7, starting at 9 a.m. The first 100 guests in line will receive free coffee for a year.
Those selected for the Free Coffee for a Year Giveaway will receive a coupon book. This book includes four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons each month for 14 months, valid only at the new Monroe location. Coupon books will be distributed beginning at 10 a.m.
Guests can also spin a prize wheel for a chance to win free Dunkin’ merchandise, while supplies last. A DJ and photo booth will be available from 10 a.m. to noon for added fun.
Emanuel “Manny” Pinheiro, a franchisee with Monroe Acquisition Co., will mark the occasion by donating $3,000 to Connecticut Foodshare, in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Connecticut Foodshare helps individuals and families throughout Connecticut by addressing hunger and providing nutritious food through local programs.
“We are excited to unveil our new restaurant to Monroe residents and the surrounding community,” said Pinheiro. “We are also proud to support Connecticut Foodshare with this $3,000 donation and to highlight an organization that offers vital support to the local community.”
A check presentation and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m.
The new Dunkin’ restaurant spans 1,970 square feet and employs 25 crew members. It is open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Monroe location features the brand’s modern restaurant design, which includes:

Faster Drive-Thru Experience: Dunkin’ Rewards members can now use an exclusive On-the-Go drive-thru lane. This allows them to skip the ordering line when they place their order ahead through Dunkin’s Mobile App. Dunkin’ is the first national restaurant brand to offer this convenience.
Premium Beverages: The restaurant features a new tap system serving eight cold beverages, including coffee, iced teas, cold brew, and nitro-infused cold brew. Crew members will also use high-quality espresso machines to craft drinks to order.
Energy Efficiency: This Dunkin’ location is a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, designed to save 25% more energy compared to standard Dunkin’ restaurants.
