Dunkin’ Offers Bitcoin Promotions in South Korea.
Dunkin’, the popular fast-food chain, is giving away Bitcoin to customers in South Korea through a partnership with local cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb. The promotions will run from July 26 to August 8, as detailed on Dunkin’s South Korean website.
Customers can earn Bitcoin “coupons” by participating in these promotions. During the first offer, anyone who buys a Bithumb Donut Pack will receive a coupon worth 5,000 won (approximately $3.50). Another promotion allows Dunkin’ customers who spend over 8,000 won to win up to 15,000 won (around $10) in Bitcoin. Additionally, Bithumb users can enter for a chance to win a Dunkin’ mobile gift card.
Bitcoin coupons can be redeemed on the Bithumb website until August 14. To participate, customers must be at least 19 years old to claim the coupons and receive the Bitcoin.
