Nicholas Heavican, renowned for crafting one of New York City’s finest croissants, has expanded his bakery empire with a new location. Since 2018, customers have flocked to Nick and Sons Bakery in Williamsburg, waiting in long lines for a taste of his caramel-colored croissants, known for their distinctive buttery aroma. Following the success of his Spring Lake, New Jersey outpost in 2021, Heavican has now unveiled a third bakery.
Located at 892 Lorimer Street, opposite McCarren Park in Greenpoint, the new bakery offers a variety of croissants including almond, za’atar, and everything seasoning. Additionally, customers can indulge in cardamom buns, fruit tarts, and an assortment of other freshly baked goods. Later this week, the menu will expand to include margherita and soppressata pizzas. The bakery is open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
