SELDEN, NY — Glenn’s Donuts officially opened its doors in Selden this Monday.
Founded by Glenn Alessi, who co-established Glenn Wayne Bakery with Wayne Stelz back in 1990, the new donut shop is now located at 203 Independence Plaza.
In an enthusiastic Instagram announcement, Alessi expressed his joy in launching the new venture, inviting customers to visit and enjoy their offerings.
The shop experienced a remarkable first day, completely selling out of their freshly baked donuts, which they attributed to an overwhelming response from the community, as noted on their Instagram page.
“We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s support,” the business shared.
As a gesture of appreciation, the shop has committed to offering a complimentary box of donuts to patrons who arrive before their 6 p.m. closing time.
Glenn Wayne Bakery, situated at 1800 Arctic Ave., Bohemia, continues to thrive, producing a wide array of baked goods including donuts, danishes, turnovers, brownies, muffins, croissants, and fritters.
