A new dessert shop specializing in classic donuts and crumble pots is scheduled to open next week.
Following the success of their Pan Asian restaurant, Big Bro Bao, brothers Joey and Louis James are expanding with a new eatery on Beach Street in Felixstowe.
Old Skool Afterz, described as an “all-new nostalgic dessert brand,” draws inspiration from after-school treats of the ’80s and ’90s, blending them with retro TV shows to offer a unique dining experience.
The menu features a variety of donuts inspired by classic desserts such as cornflake tarts, along with a large sharing donut topped with pink frosting and sprinkles.
Diners can also customize their own crumble pots, choosing from different fruits, crumble bases, hot custards, and garnishes.
Beverage options include nostalgic drinks like Squeezeit, Big T, and various fruit juices.
According to owners Joey and Louis James, “Old Skool Afterz not only delivers delicious flavors but also brings back cherished memories. There’s something here for everyone.”
Old Skool Afterz is set to open its doors on Friday, July 5, at Beach Street in Felixstowe.
