Four bakeries and pastry shops in Brighton and Hove have been recognized among the top establishments in the UK by the renowned French ranking and restaurant guide, La Liste.
La Liste recently unveiled its 2024 edition of the Pastry Special Awards, highlighting the best pastry shops across various categories. Among the winners, The Flour Pot Bakery, Julien Plumart, Real Patisserie in Brighton, and Sugardough in Hove were celebrated for their exceptional offerings.
La Liste’s methodology, akin to that used for restaurants, identifies the finest establishments globally, spanning over 80 countries. In the UK, only one venue outside of Brighton and Hove received an award, underscoring the city’s prominence in the pastry scene.
In total, 198 of the world’s top pastry shops and bakeries were located in the UK, with these four Brighton and Hove venues standing out for their quality and innovation.
The Flour Pot Bakery
