Ooh La La Donuts and Coffee recently closed its West Point Grey store, attributing the shutdown to circumstances beyond their control. Despite this setback, the beloved donut shop is now looking towards a hopeful future in a new spot.
Announcing their plans on Instagram, Ooh La La has launched a GoFundMe campaign aimed at facilitating their relocation and reopening.
“We are in the process of relocating due to lease issues,” the shop explained. “A generous customer has offered us a new space, and we are seeking funding to support the move and necessary renovations.”
Expressing disappointment over leaving their original neighborhood, the shop’s owner conveyed a heartfelt sentiment: “The shop is my daughter’s dream to spread joy with donuts and love.”
As of the latest update, the fundraiser has garnered just over $500 of its $25,000 target.
Ooh La La gained popularity for its diverse array of freshly made donuts, featuring flavors such as Tutti Fruiti with Fruity Pebbles cereal, classic chocolate dipped, and seasonal varieties.
