Raleigh, NC – Duck Donuts, a beloved North Carolina doughnut chain, is preparing to unveil its newest store in the Triangle area. Scheduled to open its doors on June 22nd, the new store located at 2414 Wycliff Road in Raleigh’s Lake Boone Shopping Center marks the fourth addition to franchise owners Kelly and Brandon Trimyer’s portfolio. The Trimyers, who already operate Duck Donuts shops in Cary, Durham, and another location in Raleigh, expressed their enthusiasm about expanding into this vibrant Raleigh neighborhood.
“We are very excited to be expanding into this area of Raleigh where we hope to delight a new crowd of neighbors, and hope to see some familiar friends, too,” said Brandon Trimyer in a recent press release.
To celebrate the grand opening of their 2,028-square-foot store, Duck Donuts is offering special promotions. The first customer in line at the 6 a.m. opening on Saturday will receive a complimentary dozen donuts each month for an entire year. Following suit, the next 50 customers will receive the Sprinkling Happiness Package, consisting of 24 doughnuts and a bucket of coffee, redeemable for a future visit.
In addition to their signature made-to-order doughnuts, Duck Donuts will offer a variety of menu items including coffee, doughnut breakfast sandwiches, doughnut sundaes, frozen drinks, and milkshakes. Operating hours for the Raleigh location will be from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The first Duck Donuts shops opened in 2007 in Duck and Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, the company has since expanded to over 150 locally owned and operated locations across 25 states, as well as internationally in Puerto Rico, Thailand, Canada, Qatar, Pakistan, and Egypt.
