Vegas Donuts, which opened just over a month ago, is already planning to open a second location.
The new store will be located in the Robson Public Market at 1610 Robson St. in Vancouver’s West End, as per the city’s business licence database. This site was recently vacated by Simit Bakery, which downsized from three cafes to one location earlier this year.
Vegas Donuts was founded by brothers Mike and Steve McBean, inspired by the donut shop their grandparents ran in Las Vegas.
“My grandparents are no longer around; we wanted to carry on the legacy,” Mike McBean said in a previous interview.
The shop offers a variety of donuts themed around Las Vegas stars and Americana, such as the Jack Lemon and Cherry Lewis. They also feature more unique flavors, like dill pickle and cream cheese.
“You’d think it’s a little wild at first, but it’s actually quite delicious,” McBean previously commented.
Additionally, they offer fritters with rotating flavors, donut holes, and donuts-in-a-cup.
An opening date for the new location has not been announced yet.
