MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Queen City Running Company in Marquette is hosting a community run on Friday to celebrate National Donut Day.
The run, covering a distance of 3 to 5 miles, will begin outside the store at 7:30 a.m. Participants will return to the store after the run, where they will be treated to free donuts from Huron Mountain Bakery.
Paige DuBois, Operations Manager at Queen City Running Co., emphasized that the event is casual and open to everyone, including walkers.
“We’re always looking for new, fun things to do in the community here. So, we’re excited to see the turnout tomorrow and just keep building a stronger community here,” said DuBois.
Following the donut treat, the group is expected to head to Dead River Coffee Roasters.
