Henri’s Bakery & Deli, a beloved establishment originating from Atlanta, is expanding its presence with a sixth location, this time venturing into Rabun County.
The upcoming branch of Henri’s Bakery & Deli is slated to open its doors in Clayton during the autumn season. Patrons can expect a delectable array of offerings including pastries, desserts, artisanal breads, and an assortment of breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
Expressing anticipation for the new venture, Anthony DiNardo, president of Henri’s Bakery & Deli, shared, “We can’t wait to be in Clayton. We have been diligently collaborating with our partners over the past year on this endeavor, and we are thrilled to witness it materialize.”
The legacy of Henri’s Bakery traces back to its inception in 1929 by Henri Fiscus. Originally hailing from France, Fiscus immigrated to Atlanta in the 1920s, where he honed his craft as a pastry chef at the Biltmore Hotel. Subsequently, he acquired a French bakery in Midtown, which later evolved into the inaugural site of Henri’s Bakery.
Presently, Henri’s Bakery & Deli operates across various locations in Buckhead, the Upper Westside, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, and Peachtree Corners.
The forthcoming establishment in Clayton will be situated at 100 S Main Street. Construction for the renovation of the new locale is expected to commence shortly, according to an official statement.
Joel Keller, chief operating officer of Henri’s Bakery & Deli, outlined, “We will adhere to the same blueprint as our existing locations, with several enhancements. One notable addition is the incorporation of a market component, offering an array of exciting new items for our patrons.”
