LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Pet owners seeking fresh inspiration for rewarding their four-legged companions now have a flavorful option to consider. In an innovative collaboration, Dunkin’ Donuts and Milk-Bone have joined forces to unveil a novel treat tailored specifically for dogs.
The latest addition to the canine snack repertoire comes in the form of a vanilla glaze-flavored dog biscuit, set to grace the shelves of select grocery stores for a limited period.
Drawing inspiration from Dunkin’s renowned glazed donut, these dog-friendly treats boast a blend of natural flavors known to appeal to canine palates. Each biscuit undergoes a process of dipping and drizzling in a delectable vanilla yogurt-flavored coating, culminating in a garnish of vibrant sprinkles.
Beyond indulging pets, these dog biscuits serve a charitable purpose. A portion of the proceeds from sales supports the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, which endeavors to bring smiles to children confronting illnesses through animal-assisted therapy programs in pediatric hospitals nationwide. Specifically, funds generated contribute to the Dogs for Joy Program, administered by the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. This initiative allocates grants to children’s hospitals to establish new in-residence dog programs or expand existing K-9 initiatives, enhancing the therapeutic experiences available to young patients.
By marrying culinary innovation with philanthropic endeavors, the partnership between Milk-Bone and Dunkin’ aims to satisfy both the taste buds of beloved pets and the hearts of those in need.
