Fairfield, Texas – Twisted Whisk, a bakery set to bring delectable treats to the heart of Fairfield, is preparing for its grand opening on Courthouse Square.
Owner and baker, Holly Roberson, anticipates the bakery’s doors to open by early May, although initial plans aimed for an April launch. The delay is attributed to pending approvals from the Health Department.
Roberson’s baking venture began 16 years ago when she crafted intricately decorated cupcakes for her daughter’s second birthday. Word quickly spread among family and friends, leading to numerous requests for her baked goods for various special occasions.
Previously operating from her home, Roberson seized the opportunity to expand her business upon finding an available storefront at 122 South Keechi Street, situated on the east side of the Square.
While finalizing operational details, Roberson is brimming with excitement for this new chapter. The bakery’s offerings will vary throughout the week, complemented by special orders to cater to diverse tastes.
Among the anticipated treats are sourdough bread loaves infused with flavors such as jalapeno and cheese, cinnamon and sugar, and strawberry with cream cheese. The menu will also feature an assortment of flavored cookies, croissants, cruffins, cupcakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, royal icing cookies, and grab-and-go cakes.
Highlighting her expertise, Roberson expresses a passion for buttercream cakes, citing their timeless appeal.
In addition to baked goods, Twisted Whisk will retail a range of natural health and beauty products including candles, lotions, balms, flavored olive oils, and spice mixes tailored for bread dipping.
Upon receiving Health Department approval, Twisted Whisk will commemorate its grand opening with celebratory festivities. Operating hours are scheduled for Wednesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, with closure on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.
