Duck Donuts, renowned for its freshly made, customizable doughnuts, is set to expand its presence in the Lehigh Valley with the grand opening of its second location in Bethlehem Township.
The grand opening event for “Duck Donuts Easton” is scheduled for 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, at 4403 Southmont Way, Suite 2. Owned and operated by Juan and Kelly Gonsalves, the new shop aims to bring the joy of warm, personalized doughnuts to the local community.
As part of the celebration, the first guest in line on opening day will be rewarded with one free dozen donuts per month for an entire year. Additionally, the following 50 guests will receive a complimentary dozen donuts and a free latte or espresso drink for a future visit.
Expressing enthusiasm for the new venture, Kelly Gonsalves remarked, “We are excited about opening the new store in Easton as we call the Lehigh Valley home. The area has such a rich history and strong sense of community that allows us to bring new job opportunities to support the local economy. We are looking forward to sprinkling happiness with our warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts in Easton!”
Spanning 1,200 square feet, the retail space will exude Duck Donuts’ signature beach theme and offer a welcoming indoor seating area suitable for families.
In addition to a wide assortment of doughnuts, the Easton location will feature Duck Donuts’ renowned coffee blends, espresso beverages, donut breakfast sandwiches, sundaes, frozen treats, milkshakes, and select retail items.
The Gonsalves are no strangers to the Duck Donuts family, as they currently own and operate successful locations in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, and Levittown, Bucks County. Kelly has been managing the South Whitehall store since January 2019, while Juan brings over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
Furthermore, Duck Donuts Easton has chosen to support the Fightin’ Foran’s Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer, by donating 10% of grand opening day sales. This initiative is part of Duck Donuts’ Quack Gives Back program, which aims to raise awareness and funds for community causes.
Operating hours for Duck Donuts Easton are set from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Originating in 2007 in Duck and Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, Duck Donuts was founded by Russ DiGilio and his family, inspired by their vacations in the Outer Banks where they missed the presence of warm, fresh doughnuts. Today, the chain boasts over 145 locations worldwide, with additional regional establishments in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, and Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County.
Notably, Duck Donuts’ inaugural Berks County location recently opened at the Village Square Shopping Center in Spring Township, offering an array of vanilla cake doughnuts fried in soy-based shortening. Patrons can customize their doughnuts by choosing from various coatings, toppings, and drizzles, with popular combinations like “Bacon in the Sun,” “Coconut Island Bliss,” and “S’mores” among the fan favorites.
