A renowned doughnut and coffee emporium is embarking on an expansion journey, as Wow! Donuts & Drips prepares to unveil its newest outpost in Plano. Situated at 501 Talbert Dr., the store will inhabit a former Dunn Brothers Coffee space, with its grand opening slated for March 23.
Wow! Donuts & Drips is set to redefine the doughnut experience with its artisan hand-crafted offerings, meticulously displayed and presented to elevate the traditional American classic.
Founded in 2017, Wow! Donuts & Drips made its debut in Dallas at 5601 W. Lovers Ln., spearheaded by the husband-and-wife team of Dung and Sang Sim, alongside their children David and Jenny, all of whom played integral roles in conceptualizing the brand.
More than just a run-of-the-mill doughnut shop, Wow! prides itself on crafting small batches from scratch daily, treating their doughnuts as edible works of art. Whether indulging in classics like glazed, chocolate, and sprinkles or exploring inventive flavors such as Salted Caramel Coffee Cream, Creme Brûlée, and Tiramisu, patrons are guaranteed a culinary adventure.
In addition to an array of delectable doughnuts, Wow! Donuts & Drips offers an assortment of tantalizing treats, including mochi doughnuts, Ooh La La croissant doughnuts, pastries, and honey butter little pig in the blankets.
On the beverage front, patrons can delight in specialty coffees, lattes, and an eclectic selection of teas. The shop collaborates with local roasters and master blenders to curate an unparalleled coffee experience. The Plano location will feature an exclusive menu for coffee aficionados, boasting extremely rare coffees priced between $20 to $35 per serving.
For younger visitors, Wow! Donuts & Drips presents a dedicated kid’s menu, featuring mini-donuts and non-caffeinated beverages such as hot chocolate and lemonade.
Expressing their excitement for the expansion, David Sim emphasized the family’s deep-rooted connection to Plano, having resided in the area for over 25 years. “We are excited about expanding to the area and look forward to being a main contributor to our local community,” Sim remarked.
Looking ahead, Wow! Donuts & Drips has plans to extend its presence with a forthcoming store in Richardson later in 2024.
The grand opening festivities for the Plano location will take place on Saturday, March 23 from 12-2 pm, and Sunday, March 24 from 2-4 pm, featuring live music, interactive activities for children, doughnut decorating sessions, selfie stations, and raffles for prizes.
