With more than 170 locations and more than 70 varieties of Warm ‘n Fresh Donut®, Winchell’s Donut House is the West Coast’s largest donut chain, with operations in six states, Guam and Saipan. The chain is opening its tenth location in Las Vegas, at 1961 N. Nellis Boulevard.
A quick look at Winchell’s menu shows that there’s plenty of variety for a donut shop. There’s a wide selection of coffee drinks, teas, juices and blended drinks, as well as the brand’s famous donuts, with classic varieties like apple pie, maple iced donuts, bear claws and cinnamon crumble cakes, which are available at many locations. There’s also a variety of bagels, croissants, muffins and other pastries, as well as sandwiches: breakfast sandwiches, like the classic ham, egg and cheese sandwich, and deli sandwiches, like Black Forest ham and wheat bagels.
The exact menu for the Nellis location and other details about the donut shop‘s opening are not yet known. Representatives for Las Vegas Donut Co. did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The Nellis Blvd. store is located on the southwest corner of the intersection with E Lake Mead Blvd., near restaurants such as China a Go Go and Rubalcaba Taco Shop. The building at 1961 N. Nellis Blvd. currently houses a Subway sandwich shop. It is unclear if the Winchell’s store will replace Subway or merge with it.
An opening date for the 10th Winchell’s in Las Vegas has not yet been announced.
