The American donut giant Dunkin’ is coming to France, more specifically to Paris, with its first two stores set to open in May 2025!
Do you like donuts, especially American ones? Good news! The famous chain Dunkin’ Donuts, which has been a rage in the US, will come to Paris in May 2025. Founded 74 years ago, Dunkin’ will compete with its rival Krispy Kreme in France. This news should delight fans of the brand’s two iconic products: donuts and coffee.
With more than 14,000 points of sale in about 40 countries around the world, Dunkin’ is now eyeing the French market. The first two stores in Paris will open within a few days of each other: the first boutique, a 200 square meter flagship store, will open on May 14 on Boulevard Montmartre in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. A second boutique will open in a few days in the heart of the Saint-Lazare train station.
Subsequently, Dunkin’s will expand throughout the country, covering city centers, train stations, airports and shopping centers. Dunkin’s entry into the French market comes against the backdrop of increasing competition: another American doughnut giant, Krispy Kreme, opened a store in the Paris area in November 2023 and already has about 20 stores in the Ile-de-France region. It is certain that the new dessert brand will also find its target customers.
Specifically, Dunkin’ will offer about twenty doughnut recipes (priced at 2.50 to 3.70 euros each), sandwiches, cookies, and hot and cold drinks. The doughnuts will be made in a workshop in Ivry-sur-Seine. So, are you ready to taste Dunkin’ Donuts in France?
