Sometimes we are surprised by unexpected dishes while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Sometimes we are touched by the thought of seeing, buying and enjoying a novel treat immediately. Sometimes we feel a little unsure and need some help. Today, I want to get your opinions on a strange snack in Disney Springs that I am not sure is worth trying. That is the maple double bacon donut from Everglazed Restaurant in Disney Springs West.
I am not a weirdo who hates foods colliding with each other, nor am I a particular fan of the combination of sweet and savory; however, this option does puzzle me. One day, I need to try it myself, but before I prepare for that moment, I need to hear your opinions. Do people order this when they want bacon, or do they order this when they want a donut? I know many people believe that these two flavors have the power to heal when they are combined in a sacred union, but it seems a bit too much to make a home on a donut, doesn’t it?
I need to know. The donut is part of The Funky Bunch collection and is priced at $5.95 each and is said to be a maple glazed donut filled with candied bacon. Did I miss this one or does it take a special person to appreciate the charm of this intricate donut? Let me know what you think.
