Krispy Kreme has joined forces with Pop-Tarts for the first time, launching a new “crazy good” donut line that combines their iconic donuts with Pop-Tarts’ beloved flavors.
“We know fans will love kicking off the year with this delicious collaboration,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s chief growth officer.
The new donuts include a frosted strawberry variety, dipped in shortbread icing and filled with strawberry filling. The donut is topped with shortbread pieces, sprinkles, a strawberry drizzle, and pieces of strawberry Pop-Tarts. Next is a frosted chocolate fudge donut, featuring chocolate icing, brown buttercream, and crushed-up frosted chocolatey fudge Pop-Tarts. Finally, there’s a brown sugar cinnamon donut topped with buttercream flavored with brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese and covered in frosted cinnamon roll Pop-Tarts.
“Pop-Tarts aren’t just for the toaster — they can infuse culinary creativity to delight consumers,” said Jessica Waller, general manager of Pop-Tarts’ parent company, Kellanova Away From Home. She praised Krispy Kreme for blending the two brands and creating a one-of-a-kind experience.
These donuts are available for individual orders, by the dozen, and can be delivered or picked up. Select locations will offer six-pack boxes for easy sharing.
