Spudnuts Celebrates 77 Years with New Store Openings in the Tri-Cities

Spudnuts, a beloved staple in the Tri-Cities community, is celebrating a major milestone—77 years of serving its signature potato-flour doughnuts. But the excitement doesn’t stop at the anniversary. The iconic shop is expanding yet again, with the opening of its fourth location in the Tri-Cities and its second in Pasco.

Originally founded in Richland, Spudnuts has grown alongside the region, with a new location recently added in Kennewick at the Edison Food Park, which also serves as the central bakery for upcoming satellite stores. Meanwhile, Pasco locals now have a fresh spot to visit on Chapel Hill Boulevard, joining the established location on Court Street.

Ryan Pierson, co-owner of Spudnuts, commented, “People know these faces; they like seeing the Spudnuts around. They trust it, and that elevates the neighborhoods and local businesses.”

As the Tri-Cities continues to expand, Spudnuts is right there with it. Pierson shared that although there are frequent requests for new locations, after opening three new stores, the business plans to take a break in 2025 before considering additional expansion.
