MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Madera man was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of DUI after he was seen doing donuts in the road, according to the Madera Police Department.
An officer on patrol near Tozer Street and Lada Avenue observed the 28-year-old driver performing reckless maneuvers in a truck. The officer stopped the vehicle and suspected the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
After the man failed to pass Standard Field Sobriety Tests, police arrested him on charges of DUI, reckless driving, and driving with a suspended license.
The suspect’s vehicle was impounded by authorities.
