A new dessert destination has arrived in Calgary, offering a unique twist on traditional Greek donuts. Mr Puffs, a Montreal-based dessert chain, has opened its first Calgary location in the Legacy neighbourhood at 20 Longview Common SE.
Founded in 2004 by Pandelis Siounis, Mr Puffs is known for its loukoumades, a type of Greek donut. These treats are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, typically served with honey, cinnamon, and sometimes chopped walnuts. While the classic version is available, Mr Puffs also offers a variety of creative toppings, including chocolate hazelnut, caramel, maple cream, and Oreo cheesecake.
Customers can enjoy Mr Puffs’ donuts individually or in larger quantities, with boxes ranging from 12 to 50 puffs.
In addition to its signature loukoumades, the Calgary location offers a selection of flavoured iced coffees, rolled and dipped ice cream cones, and milkshakes.
This new opening marks Mr Puffs’ first location in Western Canada. The chain already has several locations across Quebec and Ontario.
