The local owner of Duck Donuts found his way into the franchise after his children struggled to find the perfect donut. Now, the shop offers an endless variety of custom-made, made-to-order donuts.
Julie De Los Santos, who began creating custom clothes for her Barbies at the age of 9, has spent decades working for prominent designers. She recently opened her own shop in Dorchester, Massachusetts. In recognition of her achievements, she was named one of Boston’s Women of the Year for 2023.
