A beloved donut shop has closed its only Tri-State location as of Monday.
Duck Donuts, located at Deerfield Towne Center in Warren County, posted the announcement on its Facebook page, revealing that the store would remain closed “until further notice.” The statement thanked loyal customers for their support over the years and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.
“As of Monday, November 25, our Mason location is currently closed until further notice. Thank you to all of our guests who have supported the shop over the years and the sweet memories. We apologize for any inconvenience,” the post read.
Many customers expressed their sadness over the closure. One Facebook user shared their fondness for the brand, saying, “Duck Donuts holds a special place in my heart, originating from my favorite vacation spot, the Outer Banks in Nags Head, North Carolina.”
Another customer commented, “This is DEVASTATING! We love this place!”
The nearest Duck Donuts location to the closed Mason store is now in Dayton, Ohio, on Brown Street. The donut shop also has a location in Louisville, Kentucky.
