Loose Ends Brewing in Centerville has partnered with Death Grip Donuts to create a new limited-time beer that blends sweet, spicy, and rich chocolate flavors. The brew, called Cientifico Loco, is a Mexican Hot Chocolate Donut Stout featuring ingredients like ancho chilies, habanero peppers, German chocolate, and, of course, Death Grip Donuts.
The beer will be available starting Friday, Nov. 29. According to Loose Ends Brewing owner John Loose, the beer is “definitely for the bold.” He adds, “What I really like is that little touch of heat at the end.” Customers can expect a sweet chocolate taste with a subtle kick from the chilis.
Cientifico Loco will be available both on tap at the brewery and in cans for customers to take home. A pre-sale announcement will be made soon.
To celebrate the release, the brewery is hosting a pop-up event with Death Grip Donuts on Saturday, Nov. 30, from 8 a.m. to noon. The event will feature both beer and donuts for breakfast. Death Grip Donuts will also offer a special Mexican Hot Chocolate Donut created just for the occasion.
“We’ve poured our passion for creativity into this brew, and we can’t wait to share it with the community. It’s not just a beer — it’s an experience,” said Cameron Hill, co-owner of Death Grip Donuts with Lainey Lucas.
Loose Ends Brewing, located at 890 S. Main St., will remain open following the pop-up event for the Ohio State vs. Michigan football game.
