Vallejo Man Arrested for Doing Donuts with Loaded Gun in Car

by Celia

VALLEJO (KRON) — A Vallejo man was arrested last Friday after a patrol officer caught him performing donuts in his car. The incident occurred near Mini Drive and Violet Drive when the officer saw the driver of a 2014 Chrysler 300 engaging in reckless driving.

The officer pulled the driver over at the intersection of Mini Drive and Lewis Brown Drive. The driver, an 18-year-old Vallejo resident without a valid driver’s license, was arrested at the scene.

When the officer informed the suspect that his car would be searched and towed, the driver admitted there was a firearm inside the vehicle. Upon searching the car, the officer found a loaded, unregistered gun.

The suspect told police he had bought the gun “off the streets” due to concerns about being robbed. He was taken to the Solano County Jail, and the gun was seized as evidence.

The specific charges the suspect faces have not been disclosed.
