Krispy Kreme is celebrating World Kindness Day by giving away free doughnuts to the first 500 guests who visit participating stores across the U.S. on November 13. Customers can receive a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts—no purchase required.
This promotion means Krispy Kreme will be giving away about 6,000 free doughnuts per participating location, including both in-store and drive-thru options.
“World Kindness Day is a reminder that small acts of kindness, like sharing a sweet treat, can make a big difference,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer. “We hope these free doughnuts inspire even more acts of kindness.”
In addition to U.S. locations, Krispy Kreme’s international stores—spanning 40 countries—will also celebrate World Kindness Day with special promotions. The doughnut chain is known for recognizing other feel-good holidays, including Random Acts of Kindness Day, which it marked earlier this year with free Original Glazed doughnuts.
World Kindness Day was established in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, an international NGO focused on promoting goodwill globally, according to UNESCO.
If you’re lucky enough to grab a free dozen doughnuts on Wednesday, consider sharing the love by passing a few along to someone else to brighten their day.
