As Halloween fades and Christmas still feels far off, the next big food celebration is quickly approaching: Thanksgiving. And just in time for the holiday, Krispy Kreme has unveiled a limited-time collection that’s sure to make your Thanksgiving even sweeter.
Last month, fans were treated to the Ghostbusters Collection, inspired by the iconic Slimer and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, with the latter featuring a marshmallow-flavored buttercream. In September, the brand also launched a Barbie Collection to mark the doll’s 65th anniversary, offering pink-inspired designs.
This year has been a standout for Krispy Kreme’s creative doughnut collaborations. Highlights include Dr. Pepper-flavored doughnuts and a partnership with Dolly Parton, which brought a banana pudding-inspired treat. Krispy Kreme continues to impress both visually and flavor-wise with its innovative collections.
Now, Krispy Kreme turns its attention to Thanksgiving with the new Thanksgiving Pies Doughnut Collection, which launches on November 7. While the collection may seem more traditional compared to recent flashy collaborations (looking at you, Oreo and Coke), it promises to deliver delicious and indulgent flavors. These doughnuts are based on classic Thanksgiving pies, and they’ll be available until the last day of the season: Thanksgiving Day.
The four doughnuts in this collection include:
Chocolate Silk Pie Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with chocolate buttercream and chocolate curls.
Lemon Creme Pie Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut filled with lemon pie filling, dipped in lemon icing, and graham crunch, finished with a meringue buttercream dollop.
Blueberry Crisp Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut filled with blueberry filling, dipped in blueberry icing, and topped with a streusel topping.
Apple Crumble Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut with apple pie filling, topped with pie crust buttercream and a cinnamon cookie crumb topping.
