Desert Donuts Expands to Colorado with New Franchise Location.
PHOENIX, Oct. 17, 2024 – Desert Donuts, an Arizona-based dessert shop known for its made-to-order cake donuts, has opened its first franchise location in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The grand opening took place on October 5, 2024. This expansion comes after the company announced franchise opportunities in February 2024.
The Colorado franchise is led by Justin Daigle, Vanessa Daigle, and Brian Richardson. They have ambitious plans to open 25 dessert shops across the state. The next location in Highlands Ranch is scheduled to open in November 2024.
Although called Desert Donuts, the shop is not a typical donut store. Instead, it offers a unique dessert experience that elevates the traditional donut. Since its inception in Phoenix in 2013, Desert Donuts has honed the art of cooking donuts to order. Each donut is prepared fresh in front of the customer, ensuring a warm treat every time. A single donut takes just a few minutes to make, while a dozen can be ready in about 8 to 10 minutes.
Customers can also enjoy the “Share Your Happy” wall, a creative space where they can write or draw while waiting for their desserts. This wall is refreshed weekly, providing a new canvas for visitors’ creativity.
