FRESNO, Calif. — Randy’s Donuts, a globally recognized donut shop, is set to open its first location in the Central Valley in just a few weeks.
On Wednesday morning, the iconic Randy’s Donuts sign was installed at the new shop, located at the intersection of Shaw and Maple, directly across from Fresno State. The grand opening is anticipated within the next month.
This new location is part of a larger expansion plan for Randy’s Donuts in the region, which includes plans for ten new stores over the next two years. Another location is also planned for Bullard and Palm, although a specific opening date for that site has not yet been announced.
The distinctive giant donut on the roof of Randy’s Donuts may look familiar to many, as the original Southern California location has featured prominently in various movies and television shows.
