SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A mother-daughter duo, Mandy and Taryn Wright, are bringing sweetness to Midway, Utah, with their shop, Judy’s Donuts and Coffee. They rise early each day to craft their homemade donuts from scratch, ensuring fresh treats for their customers.
The shop honors Mandy’s late mother, Judy Mantlo, who passed away in 2014. After years of renovating a historic home from the 1890s, Judy’s Donuts & Coffee officially opened its doors in 2019. Each morning, the team prepares a variety of handmade donuts using a cherished family recipe and pairs them with coffee from Caffe Ibis. The shop serves as a tribute to Judy Mantlo’s love for sweets.
During a recent visit, the Wrights showcased some of their most popular items. Their massive fritters and award-winning maple bars were highlights that left mouths watering. Customers are encouraged to arrive early, as these delightful treats tend to sell out quickly.
