Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is set to celebrate the spooky season in Mexico with a limited-time Ghostbusters-themed doughnut collection. This exciting announcement comes from Krispy Kreme Mexico’s official social media accounts, where they shared a teaser video. The caption read, “Oops! We’ve broken the ecto container! And some ghosts have possessed this spooky season’s new Doughnut collection! Get ready to hunt down the best flavors this Halloween starting September 30th.”
While detailed information about the doughnuts has not yet been released, a formal announcement is expected tomorrow. This will provide a closer look at the new offerings, which are likely to feature marshmallow and green slime fillings.
This is not the first time Krispy Kreme has collaborated with the Ghostbusters franchise. In 2014, the company launched special marshmallow Kreme-filled doughnuts in the United States and Canada to mark the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters. Later, during the promotion of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, South Africa introduced its own unique flavors, including the “Fizzy Red Apple Kreme” and the Mini-Puft-themed “Marshmallow Iced & Choc Kreme.”
