Dip and Sip Donuts Relocates from Roscoe Village to Glenview.
Dip and Sip Donuts, a beloved donut shop that operated in Chicago’s Roscoe Village for nearly five years, has moved to Glenview. The new location at 1825 Waukegan Road celebrated its ribbon-cutting ceremony last month and held a soft opening at the end of May.
The shop is known for its daily vanilla cake donuts and custom-decorated donuts. Their menu also features breakfast sandwiches and unique offerings such as maple bacon and a deconstructed S’more. Owner Paul Cipolly mentioned that they plan to add bagels to the menu soon.
Cipolly explained that their previous location in Roscoe Village was situated west of the busier areas, making it less accessible. With Cipolly and his wife, Vikki, already relocated to Glenview, moving the business was a logical decision. The difficulty of commuting and finding a suitable location on Waukegan Road made the transition to Glenview an easier choice.
Although business has been slow this summer, Cipolly is optimistic. He expects customer traffic to increase as residents return from vacation and children go back to school.
In related news, Hometown Coffee & Juice recently received a $500,000 incentive from the village to open near the downtown train station, close to the well-established Glenview Grind coffee shop. However, village officials confirmed that Dip and Sip did not receive any financial incentives or assistance from the village for their move.
