Dunkin’ Donuts: A Breakfast Menu Beyond Donuts and Coffee
Dunkin’ Donuts is widely recognized for its donuts and coffee, but the breakfast fast food chain offers a much broader menu. Over the years, Dunkin’ has experimented with bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and bacon. Despite these efforts, the company remains best known for its sweet treats, creating unique donuts for various countries and selling a billion Munchkins donut holes annually.
In late 2021, Dunkin’ Donuts introduced Pancake Minis, aiming to expand its sweet breakfast options. The concept was straightforward: six miniature pancakes filled with maple-flavored pieces, served with syrup, all for a low price. The idea seemed promising, similar to IHOP‘s Silver 5 pancake platter.
However, the Pancake Minis did not achieve the expected success. They, along with the Pancake Wake-Up Wrap, quietly disappeared from the menu. No official announcement has been made about their discontinuation. The last articles and Reddit discussions about Pancake Minis dwindled in 2021, suggesting these pancakes are unlikely to return.
