Invitation-only bids are due this week for a new Dunkin’ Donuts to be built at Lake Deaton Plaza near the Rohan Recreation Center on State Road 44. The new store will cover 1,844 square feet. Construction is scheduled to begin on September 30.
The project is owned by Inspire Brands LLC, a fast-food franchise company. Inspire Brands, owned by Roark Capital Group, also owns Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic Drive-In, Jimmy John’s, Mister Donut, and Baskin-Robbins.
There are already several Dunkin’ Donuts locations in The Villages, including ones at Southern Trace Plaza, Colony Plaza, Brownwood Paddock Square, and Spanish Springs Town Square.
