Landough’s Doughnut Shop in Brighton Introduces Sandwiches to Menu.
Brighton’s beloved doughnut shop, Landough’s, has unveiled an exciting new addition to its menu: sandwiches. Branded as Landough’s Sando’s, the shop will now offer both doughnuts and sandwiches, providing customers with a unique dining experience.
Opened earlier this year, Landough’s quickly became a favorite among visitors to Jetty Road. The shop is known for its creative doughnuts, featuring flavors like Maple Bacon, Dulce De Leche, and Caramel Apple. In addition to doughnuts, they also serve a variety of pastries and coffee. The popularity of specific doughnuts varies weekly, but owner Joshua Rivers notes that the Biscoff Ring and the Pistachio Puppy filled doughnut consistently sell out.
The announcement of the sandwich menu was made earlier this week in a Facebook post by Joshua. The new sandwich offerings include Nan’s Crumbed Chicken, Hot Tuna Melt, Big Brekky Slabwich, Italian Chopped Salad, Mortadella on Turkish, and Vegan Miso Mushroom. Customers can also enjoy a meal deal that includes one sandwich, one doughnut, and one large coffee for $26. When asked about the decision to add sandwiches, Joshua said, “Landough’s was always conceived like that. It made sense to do something else to couple with doughnuts.”
Landough’s is co-owned by Joshua and his wife, Chimere Rivers, who also run C.R.E.A.M, Remy’s Deep Dish Pizza and Bar, and Diamond Burger. They have maintained Landough’s cheeky character since its opening. The shop’s name is a playful nod to the name of their son. Joshua reflects, “Everything I’ve done over the years… has always been for him.”
The vibrant pink interior of Landough’s mirrors the fun and playful nature of its menu. As the shop continues to evolve, it remains dedicated to providing sweet and innovative options for its customers.
