MIDDLETOWN – A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of Mister Croissant Bakery & Café on Saturday, as the community welcomed its newest culinary addition.
Located at 28 North St., the bakery introduced its diverse menu highlighting a range of pastries, cakes, and freshly brewed coffee.
During the inaugural hours, staff were delighted to report selling more than 450 croissants, underscoring the enthusiastic reception from local patrons.
Founder Rakesh Nayak, originally from India, honed his craft at a prestigious pastry school in France. His extensive culinary journey includes roles with cruises, hotels, and as head chef for Cipriani Restaurants nationwide.
