After nearly 20 months of preparation and regulatory navigation, ‘tiny little donuts’ is set to unveil its Airstream trailer-based doughnut shop at Chapel Ridge in northeast Fort Wayne. Since its arrival in November 2022, the quaint trailer has been stationed at the edge of the Kohl’s parking lot, eagerly anticipating its grand opening scheduled for April 27.
Jacob Guge, the director and general manager of ‘tiny little donuts,’ expressed excitement about the culmination of their efforts, stating, “We learned a ton from this experience… it’s given us a good amount of time to also dial in the different little details like how we want to train our staff [and] how we want to serve our customers.”
The doughnut shop is primed to offer a diverse selection of treats, featuring seven flavors, including a seasonal option, alongside refreshing beverages such as water and coffee. Customers will have the choice of purchasing boxes containing eight, 16, or even 100 delectable doughnuts.
Although lacking a drive-thru window, ‘tiny little donuts’ ensures convenience through its pickup window, where customers can place their orders in person and opt to either take them home or enjoy the outdoor seating provided.
With a keen focus on providing exceptional service, Guge is optimistic about the customer experience, remarking, “Everyone loves good service, so people should be pleased with their experience.”
Operating hours for ‘tiny little donuts’ will be from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on all days except Mondays, when the shop will remain closed.
