FGF has voluntarily recalled more than 2 million cases of donuts, pastries, and baked goods due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. While no illnesses have been reported, environmental tests conducted inside the manufacturing facility showed positive results for Listeria, though no food-contact surfaces or donuts themselves tested positive.
FGF reassured consumers that all donuts are completely safe to eat and that the recall is a precautionary measure, prompted by non-product-related findings at one of their US facilities. Affected products include a variety of donuts (filled, traditional, and others), coffee rolls, cinnamon sticks, French crullers, fritters, éclairs, and some baked goods sold at Dunkin’.
