Dripp Donuts Teases Return in Spring 2025 After Shreveport Closure

Dripp Donuts recently shared a social media video hinting at a return in Spring 2025. The popular downtown donut shop closed its doors on April 15, 2024, after structural issues were discovered in its building’s foundation. The historic building was demolished on May 5.

While Dripp has not yet confirmed a specific opening date or location for the new shop, the announcement has sparked excitement among fans.

In September 2024, Dripp filed a lawsuit against DSDC2 and the Downtown Shreveport Development Corp. The lawsuit claims that the landowner, DSDC2, was aware of the building’s structural problems before Dripp signed its lease.
