Dunkin’ Donuts to Open at Former Wendy’s Location in Milwaukee

by Celia

Dunkin’ Donuts is set to open a new location at 914 N. 27th St. in Milwaukee’s Avenues West neighborhood.

The 1,300-square-foot building was previously occupied by a Wendy’s franchise, which was part of a group of fast-food restaurants once owned by former Milwaukee Bucks player Junior Bridgeman. The Wendy’s closed earlier this year.

Kardo Rasha, from Brookfield-based The Kardo Group, plans to buy the building next year and open a Dunkin’ Donuts there. Renovations are expected to cost around $200,000, with the new store scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2025. This new location will add to Dunkin’ Donuts’ nearly 100 other sites across Wisconsin.
