Krispy Kreme is adding a festive twist to the holiday season with the launch of its new “Grinchmas” holiday doughnuts. Starting Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, these special treats will be available for a limited time at participating locations.
The new “Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection” features three brand-new doughnuts inspired by characters from the beloved Christmas classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas! by Dr. Seuss. In addition, two popular holiday doughnuts are returning to the menu. Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, said in a press release, “Who wants to celebrate Christmas with Krispy Kreme?! Our Merry Grinchmas doughnuts are guaranteed to make even the Grinchiest Grinch smile. At Krispy Kreme, you’re a sweet one, Mr. Grinch!”
New Grinch-Inspired Doughnuts
The three new doughnuts each take inspiration from key moments and characters in the Grinch story. The Grinch, who initially cannot find the spirit of Christmas, learns the true meaning of the holiday after witnessing the Whos in Whoville celebrating despite losing their presents and food.
Grinch Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme “coal” filling, dipped in green Grinch icing, and topped with buttercream hair and a chocolate smirk.
Grinchy Claus Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with white buttercream, Christmas crispies, and a Grinch piece.
Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in strawberry-flavored icing, with a green buttercream tree, festive sprinkles, and a star on top.
Returning Holiday Favorites
Alongside the Grinch-inspired creations, Krispy Kreme is also bringing back two fan-favorite holiday doughnuts:
Santa Belly Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut filled with white Kreme, dipped in red icing, decorated with a black chocolate Santa belt, and finished with a belt buckle on top.
Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut covered in chocolate icing and sprinkled with festive toppings.
Special Holiday Promotions
On Dec. 12, Krispy Kreme will also celebrate its annual “Day of the Dozens.” Customers can buy a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just $1 when they purchase any dozen at regular price, either in-store, at the drive-thru, or for online pick-up or delivery.
Availability
